Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. This includes being proficient in estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
- Work with the Owner early in the process in order to facilitate the design process with the chosen Design Professionals.
- Ensure that an accurate and complete estimate for the project is prepared.
- Solicit and prepare bids for contracts. Estimating, Budgeting, and Client Interaction.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
- Confer with Engineers, Architects, and Trade Contractors on change and adjustments to cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Construction or Engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of construction trades, methods, standards, codes, equipment, blueprint reading and interpretation, project protocol, and contracting.
- Excellent Communication skills and writing skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to work individually and as a team member.
Computer skills:
proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook.- Must be able to pass a security background check/clearance and Drug Screen.
