Superintendent -
Commercial ConstructionLocation:
Macon, GASalary:
$100K-$150K (salary depends on experience)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for commercial, municipal, and institutional projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for day-to-day field supervision, ensuring projects are built safely, on schedule, on budget and to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and proven experience managing multi-trade construction in both new-construction and renovation environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site leadership and supervision of all field construction activities, including subcontractors and craft personnel.

Enforce safety programs and OSHA standards; conduct daily safety briefings and ensure a safe work environment.

Develop, maintain, and drive the project schedule; coordinate daily and weekly work plans to meet milestones and critical path items.

Oversee quality control and ensure construction meets contract documents, specifications, and best practices.

Qualifications3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role with proven success delivering commercial, K-12, Churches, or Government projectsAbility to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents; strong construction math and layout skills.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors, staging and logistics for ground-up and renovation projects.

Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficient with construction software and tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office or equivalent); familiarity with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera) a plus.
