Kevin Price Construction is an Athens, GA based Commercial General Contractor with over 40 years in business. A healthy mix of public and privately funded projects have allowed KPC the opportunity to develop experience and knowledge of multiple project types. Our team has constructed and renovated numerous K-12 Education, Municipal, Public safety, Higher Education, Recreational/Athletic, Commercial and Industrial buildings in Northeast GA. Responsibilities include project planning, safety, organization, supervising subcontractors and suppliers and managing the project schedule. Lead the on site management of a commercial construction project. Lead the weekly subcontractor coordination meeting. Be able to generate a 3 week lookahead schedule that ties to the Overall Project Schedule. Complete a daily report each day noting the weather, progress that occurred, subcontractors on site, deliveries made and visitors to the jobsite. Each report will also have photos attached documenting the progress. Set expectations of subcontractors and hold them accountable for results. Set the example of a safe project by following and enforcing the OSHA safety standards. Maintain good working relationships with the Owner, Design Team and local building officials. Work with the project manager to keep costs within the project budget. Commercial and industrial experience is required, K-12 or higher education projects is a plus. Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a lead superintendent. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, who is able to pay careful attention to detail while supervising multiple activities at once. Salary is determined by candidate's credentials and years of experience.
