•Construction oversees all phases of commercial construction projects. This role supports pipefitters, sheet metal workers, plumbers, and other specialized technicians. The Manager

•Construction serves as the master scheduler, manages the subcontracting process, and coordinates project activities with Account Managers, Sales Coordinators, Project Managers, and field leadership to ensure proper labor resource allocation, safety, quality, and the timely delivery of projects to customers.

Compensation Pay Range:

$120,000

•$150,000 annually , based on experience, qualifications, skills, and other job-related factors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of multiple commercial construction projects.

+ Serves as the master scheduler by developing and maintaining project schedules, labor allocation, and resource planning.

+ Oversees and coordinates the work of pipefitters, sheet metal workers, plumbers, and other field technicians, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

+ Provides estimating support to Account Managers and Sales teams, as applicable.

+ Conducts regular job site visits to monitor project progress, quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

+ Manages vendor and subcontractor selection, scheduling, performance, and contract compliance.

+ Partners with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate permits, project documentation, procurement, billing, change orders, interdepartmental manpower, and customer communications.

+ Monitors project budgets, technician productivity, labor utilization, and job costs to achieve financial objectives and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

+ Serves as the primary point of contact for escalated project issues involving customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field technicians.

+ Directly supervises, coaches, and develops Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and field employees, driving accountability, performance, and professional growth.

+ Fosters positive working relationships with employees, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and employee representatives. Education

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Technical school training in HVAC preferred.

+ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Experience

+ Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in construction, estimating, project management, or operations leadership.

+ Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of commercial HVAC construction experience. Certifications/Licenses

+ None required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and project management principles.

+ Proven ability to develop and manage complex project schedules while balancing labor resources, subcontractors, and project priorities.

+ Demonstrated leadership and employee management skills, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution.

+ Ability to foster positive relationships with employees, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and contract administrators.

+ Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling and/or ERP software.

+ Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to travel to local job sites up to 50%.
