•$80,000 About the Role We are a growing General Contractor operating only in Oak Park, River Forest & Forest Park. We're looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to support our Project Managers in the day-to-day execution of residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role — you'll be the eyes, ears, and voice of the company on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, on budget, and to a high-quality standard. You'll need a strong working knowledge of the entire project (budget, schedule, design, and subcontractor agreements) and the communication skills to keep everyone — from tradespeople to project managers to clients — informed and aligned. What You'll Do Safety & Compliance Enforce safety standards on-site and conduct daily safety inspections Run site orientations for new subtrades and ensure compliance with our safety code of conduct Site Operations & Logistics Oversee daily site operations, mobilization/demobilization, and site setup (power, water, waste, office) Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site (tools, gates, alarms) Install and maintain site protection and signage; manage neighborhood relations Quality & Production Read and interpret blueprints and specifications Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance; check rough-ins before cover-up Coordinate deliveries, material/dump runs, and subcontractor scheduling Communication & Documentation Serve as the daily point of contact between site, subtrades, clients, and the Project Manager Maintain daily logs, photos, and administrative tracking systems What You Bring 3+ years in residential construction, including experience as a Handyman/Carpenter/Site Foreman managing trades Comprehensive knowledge of construction safety standards Strong blueprint reading, layout, and finish carpentry skills Proven ability to lead a small crew and coordinate subcontractors Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Comfortable with basic scheduling/tracking software Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Available Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM Able to lift and be physically active throughout the day First Aid Certificate an asset
