Full Job Description Job Summary:

BETATECH

is seeking an experienced OSP Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent project management abilities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and regulations.

Managers Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors including daily construction site visits driving safety compliance, removing obstacles/challenges and daily production reporting.
• Develop project schedules and tracking reports.
• Work with the project management and leadership teams maintain and grow client relations
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services needed for construction projects and keeping accurate documentation
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project plans
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders
• Complete pre and post construction site walks
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• (3-5 years) of operation management experience in installation and maintenance of fiber optic plants
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings

Skills:

• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Field construction experience
• Fiber Splicing skills
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Mathematics
• Network infrastructure knowledge
• Ability to supervise and motivate others
• Experience working with municipalities and utility partners
