JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager (PM) to oversee commercial construction projects from planning through close-out. The PM will be responsible for coordinating schedules, budgets, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Manage multiple projects simultaneously across planning, permitting, construction, and close-out stages. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting tools. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design and scope alignment. Lead weekly construction meetings and provide status updates to leadership. Review and approve contracts, change orders, and pay applications. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality control. Manage RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes. Resolve conflicts and issues that arise in the field or with stakeholders. Provide accurate forecasting and cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices. Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Smartsheet, MS Project, or equivalent). Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities under tight deadlines. Familiarity with permitting processes, contracts, and local building codes. Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
