Job Description

Screenmobile of Fort Wayne is looking to grow and enhance our brand locally and is searching for the right team members to help us make that happen. We specialize in the installation of motorized screens and awnings, patio and porch enclosures, and the manufacture and repair of window and door screens for both residential and commercial locations.
Job Purpose:
Lead, inspire, and grow our Fort Wayne service team as Branch Manager — a hands-on, lead-by-example role reporting directly to the owner. You'll work alongside and mentor crew leaders and technicians installing motorized screens and awnings, three-season rooms, screened porches, and performing screen and window/door repairs, while helping to build a high-performing, customer-focused operation. Five years or more hands-on experience performing and managing residential and/or commercial construction projects is required. This position is right for you if you are hardworking, have high integrity and willing to lead by example. This is a hands on role. You will also need to be comfortable interacting with customers, scheduling and managing jobs, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a player and a coach: complete installations of our products while overseeing a team of technicians.
Lead and energize the team:
foster teamwork, motivation, and positive employee relations.
Coach for success:
develop crew leaders and technicians through clear guidance, recognition for excellence, and timely, respectful correction when needed.
Run daily operations:
oversee scheduling, project timelines, employee hours, and ensure projects finish on time and on budget.
Coordinate projects end-to-end:
plan, assign, and manage jobs efficiently, working closely with customers and crews.
Deliver outstanding customer experiences:
communicate professionally, resolve concerns quickly, and represent Screenmobile professionally.
Ensure quality and safety:
review work to meet project specs and safety protocols, train staff on proper use of tools, equipment, and materials. Review and approve team hours and resolve any clock-in/out issues. Maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels to support current and upcoming projects. Ensure team members have the appropriate tools, materials and training needed to complete all tasks and responsibilities. Periodically engage in sales by presenting solutions and building relationships with homeowners, builders, property managers, contractors, and business owners.
Additional Benefits:
A rewarding chance to play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our Fort Wayne location from the ground up.
Fully supported:
you'll receive all tools, comprehensive training, and a company vehicle. Earn a competitive salary or hourly pay with sales commissions and performance bonuses. Clear growth path to General Manager of Fort Wayne, with full P&L responsibility and leadership impact.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years' hands-on construction experience, preferably in exterior improvements, remodeling or new construction. Experience managing crews and construction projects from start to finish. Professional appearance, positive attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills. Strong work ethic and unquestionable integrity. Valid driver's license with insurable driving record and reliable transportation. Experience using email, phone and various technologies to support the business. Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds, work on ladders/heights, and work in varied weather conditions for extended periods. Ability to work 12-14 hours per day, 50-60 hours per week, evenings and weekends during our busy season (March - November).
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Work Location:
