1639440 We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the safe execution of maintenance/ repair & capital projects within heavy industrial manufacturing and continuous process facilities. This role is responsible for managing field construction activities from planning through commissioning while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader with extensive experience managing contractors in demanding industrial environments such as power generation, oil & gas, chemical processing, mining, cement, pulp & paper, steel, or other continuous process operations. Key Responsibilities Lead all field construction activities for capital improvement projects ranging from equipment replacements to major plant expansions. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and contractor safety programs. Manage multiple general contractors and specialty subcontractors throughout all phases of construction. Conduct daily construction coordination meetings, contractor planning sessions, and progress reviews. Perform routine field inspections to verify compliance with engineering drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safe work practices. Coordinate construction activities with plant operations to minimize production impacts and ensure safe execution within an operating facility. Review construction schedules, manpower plans, work sequencing, and material deliveries to maintain project milestones. Resolve field issues, coordinate engineering clarifications, and facilitate timely decision-making to avoid schedule delays. Monitor construction productivity, identify project risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Support project commissioning, startup activities, punch list completion, and project closeout documentation. Maintain accurate project documentation, field reports, meeting minutes, and construction progress updates using Microsoft Office applications. Build strong working relationships with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and project stakeholders. $
