Job Title:
Senior Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager for a contract-to-hire position specializing in industrial and manufacturing projects. The role involves managing large-scale construction projects from design through to completion, ensuring exceptional execution and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Serve as the full-time onsite representative, acting as the primary point of contact for clients. Coordinate with client facilities, engineering, procurement, and operations teams, along with architects, engineers, and contractors. Manage all aspects of large-scale industrial and manufacturing projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Track project schedules, costs, scope, RFIs, submittals, change orders, risks, and action items. Oversee contractor activities and resolve field issues in real-time. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards. Participate in and lead various project meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Support project closeout activities and transition to client operations. Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional project delivery and proactive communication. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification or equivalent project management certification. Minimum of 8-12 years of construction project management experience, preferably with large-scale industrial projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industrial/manufacturing facility requirements. Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including schedule, cost, scope, quality, and risk. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Problem-solving abilities and the capability to make sound decisions under pressure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Master's degree in a related field. Experience in multiple industrial sectors such as aerospace, automotive, heavy manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. Experience with large manufacturing clients and OEM environments. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, MS Project, Primavera, and Bluebeam. Background in change management and process improvements. Experience in the Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama markets. Work Environment The ideal candidate will be located in Mobile, Alabama, and must be open to extensive travel throughout Georgia, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Travel is expected four days a week, with all expenses reimbursed. The position requires a physical presence on-site and involves managing projects ranging from $50M-$200M, including large manufacturing facilities and industrial buildouts. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring effective collaboration with Senior-level clients, stakeholders, and project team Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Mobile, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $73.00 - $73.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
