This role is ideal for a human resources professional who understands the fast-paced realities of supporting construction, skilled trades, engineering, manufacturing, facilities, logistics, or other field-based teams. The HR Manager will partner closely with operational leaders, supervisors, project teams, and employees to support employee relations, compliance, recruiting, performance management, and workforce planning. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being a practical HR partner in a hands-on environment where safety, productivity, communication, and accountability matter. These opportunities may offer exposure to supportive leadership teams, collaborative operations groups, stable local employers, and the ability to make a visible impact on employee experience, retention, leadership coaching, and HR process improvement. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted HR partner to employees, supervisors, project leaders, and senior management across field, operational, hourly, and salaried teams. Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, performance concerns, documentation, corrective action, and employee development conversations. Support workforce planning and recruiting for field, skilled-trade, technical, operational, and professional positions. Oversee onboarding, offboarding, benefits coordination, leave administration, HR compliance, personnel records, and HRIS data accuracy. Partner with safety and operations leaders on workers' compensation, return-to-work matters, safety-sensitive workforce concerns, and OSHA-related practices. Review workforce trends such as turnover, attendance, retention, staffing needs, and policy consistency across multiple locations, jobsites, departments, or shifts.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range:

$80,000 to $95,000 per year. Some direct-hire opportunities may target compensation generally around $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on employer, scope of responsibility, company size, industry experience, direct reports, and multi-location responsibility.
