• This position is for the Dallas, TX & Overland Park, KS office only
• Manage and assist in hiring, training, and mentoring the estimating team within the region Develop and oversee bid schedules to ensure timely submission of competitive proposals Fostering relationships with general contractors, trade partners and vendors Assist in developing bid strategies to improve success rates Create budget proposals using historical data Oversee the preparation of formal bids using Tekla Powerfab and Bluebeam Conduct thorough reviews of bids before submission to ensure accuracy Collaborate with operations to provide constructability and coordination reviews of the project documents Reports to Chief Estimating Manager Requirements At least 10 years of experience in construction estimating and managing people required.

Steel estimating preferred, but not required. Proven ability to lead a project team and oversight required Proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks for project estimates required Strong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferred Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications required Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Analytical and problem-solving skills required Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment required HME is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
