This is not a full-time or guaranteed-hours position. Work will be assigned based on the location and volume of task orders we receive. We are looking for several Superintendents throughout the state so projects can be assigned to someone reasonably close to the jobsite.

Responsibilities are straightforward:

provide onsite supervision, coordinate with subcontractors, monitor quality and progress, maintain a safe and professional jobsite, take progress photos, and provide updates to our Project Manager. Valet Works Construction will handle subcontractor procurement and the majority of project administration. Ideal for retired or semi-retired construction professionals, military veterans, former building inspectors, superintendents, project managers, or tradespeople looking for flexible project-based work.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of construction experience General understanding of commercial construction and jobsite operations Reliable transportation and ability to travel within your assigned region Comfortable communicating with subcontractors and management Must pass background check and drug screening

Compensation:

Hourly or guaranteed minimum compensation per assigned task order, depending on the project.

Schedule:

As needed. Hours are not guaranteed and will depend entirely on construction task-order volume in your region.

$150.00 per day
