This energetic position offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned professionals, oversee project execution, and ensure that every phase aligns with safety standards, quality expectations, and budget parameters. As an integral part of our project management team, you will contribute to the successful planning, coordination, and completion of construction initiatives. Duties
- The Construction Management Assistant helps with all construction responsibilities at the worksite(s).
- Must be able to proficiently maneuver a trailer, of up to 16 feet in length.
- Must be able to confidently utilize and climb ladders and scaffolding to heights of up to 20 feet.
- The position requires standing, walking, bending, and occasionally kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, & climbing. Occasionally, the employee may lift, move, and/or load items over 70 pounds and up to 50 feet at a time with mechanical assistance and/or a team lift.
- This position helps to ensure all employees have completed attendance in and out punches on timecards.
- Responsible for understanding the Habitat for Humanity of Henderson construction operations manual, volunteer and site safety policies and procedures.
- Responsible for job site staging, materials delivery, handling, and storage.
- Responsible for appropriate tools being onsite for the specific daily tasks.
- Responsible for work fleet vehicles cleanliness and maintaining a proper servicing schedule.
- Must sit ad hoc on the Land Acquisition Committee.
- Must ensure that all property corners stay marked once a survey has been performed.
- Monitor work site for safety adherence with proper equipment usage and protective measures.
- Monitor workers for pace of work and potential health issues such as heat-related problems.
- Complies with Habitat for Humanity of Henderson Policy Manuals.
- Takes photos to document progress for all Habitat grants that require a building photo catalog.
- Due to having to be added to company insurance policy, a clean driving record is required.
- Other duties as deemed necessary. Experience
- 1•2 years' experience working on a construction site preferred.
- Supervision of a crew in a construction or labor-intensive environment preferred.

Pay:
$16.00
