• Roofing & Construction Colorwheel, LLC | Lafayette, Louisiana Colorwheel is hiring a Project Manager to oversee roofing, exterior, restoration, and interior construction projects throughout the Acadiana area.

This position is for someone who can take ownership of projects once they move into production and make sure the work gets completed correctly, efficiently, and professionally. We're looking for a practical problem-solver who understands construction, communicates well with customers and subcontractors, and can manage multiple active projects without needing to be micromanaged. What You'll Do Manage roofing, siding, exterior, restoration, and interior construction projects from pre-construction through completion Review project scopes, estimates, contracts, selections, and job requirements before work begins Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, crews, suppliers, deliveries, and inspections Visit active jobsites and monitor workmanship and progress Confirm materials and quantities before production Identify scope discrepancies and potential change orders Document job progress with photographs and written notes Communicate regularly with customers regarding scheduling and project status Address jobsite issues quickly and professionally Coordinate with sales and administration regarding project status Manage punch-list items and project closeout Help maintain quality-control standards Verify that completed work substantially matches the contracted scope Help control unnecessary labor, material, and subcontractor costs Maintain organized project records Protect the customer experience while also protecting company profitability Compensation Compensation will be hourly or salary-based depending upon experience, construction knowledge, demonstrated skill, and level of responsibility . We are open to candidates at different experience levels and will structure compensation accordingly. Opportunities for additional performance-based compensation may be available as the position develops. We're Looking For Someone Who Has practical construction knowledge Is organized and dependable Can confidently communicate with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers Can manage several moving projects simultaneously Understands that details and follow-through matter Is comfortable spending significant time in the field Can identify construction problems instead of simply reporting that a problem exists Has good judgment and can make reasonable field decisions Takes ownership of results Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Experience in roofing, residential construction, remodeling, restoration, estimating, or construction project management is strongly preferred. Experience reading scopes, estimates, plans, or insurance restoration estimates is a plus.
