Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of utility locating, concrete forming, and pipe laser operation. If you have experience in pipeline installation and are looking for a challenging opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
  • Install and repair underground pipelines according to project specifications
  • Dig trenches using heavy equipment such as excavators and backhoes
  • Lay pipes in trenches and ensure proper alignment and grade
  • Connect pipes using welding techniques or mechanical fittings
  • Test pipelines for leaks and make necessary repairs
  • Backfill trenches and compact soil to restore the site to its original condition
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts and loaders to transport materials and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layout and installation requirements
Skills:
  • Proficient in utility locating techniques to identify existing underground utilities
  • Experience with concrete forming for pipeline structures
  • Familiarity with pipe laser operation for precise alignment during installation
  • Ability to plumb pipes accurately to ensure proper flow
  • Knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and regulations
  • Competent in digging trenches using heavy equipment
  • Proficient in welding techniques for pipe connections
  • Strong blueprint reading skills to understand project requirements
  • Experience operating loaders for material transportation
