We are a growing residential construction and renovation company serving the Boston area, focused on creating beautifully executed, high-quality homes. We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to take ownership of our projects in the field and help us build an exceptional construction operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential construction professional who wants more than simply overseeing a job site. We are looking for someone who can manage projects from the field, coordinate trades, solve problems, maintain exceptionally high quality standards, and keep projects moving efficiently from demolition through final completion. The Role You will be responsible for the day-to-day field management of residential renovation and construction projects throughout the Boston area.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage day-to-day operations on multiple residential construction and renovation projects Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, employees, trades and vendors Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track Coordinate material deliveries and confirm materials are available when needed Read and interpret architectural plans, specifications and construction documents Coordinate inspections and work with local building departments as necessary Identify field conditions and potential problems before they impact the schedule or budget Maintain exceptional workmanship and quality-control standards Conduct regular site inspections and document project progress Manage punch lists and drive projects through final completion Maintain clean, organized and professional job sites Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, designers and homeowners Communicate schedule changes, field conditions and potential change orders promptly Ensure subcontractors comply with project requirements and safety standards Help develop and improve company construction procedures as the business grows What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has substantial experience managing residential renovations, custom homes or high-end residential construction in the Boston market .

Preferred qualifications include:

5+ years of residential construction supervision experience Strong knowledge of residential construction from demolition through finish work Experience renovating older Boston-area homes, brownstones and/or condominiums Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) required Strong understanding of Massachusetts building codes and permitting/inspection processes Ability to read architectural and construction plans Excellent scheduling and subcontractor-management skills Strong attention to detail and high standards for finish quality Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable communicating professionally with homeowners, architects and designers Ability to manage several active projects and priorities simultaneously Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Willingness and experience to work in the city of Boston in urban coniditions Compensation & Benefits We intend to offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract an experienced professional who can grow with the company.
