Working on both private & public construction projects, the Field Engineer/Site Superintendent serves in a leadership capacity to assist with the oversight & management of all phases of multiple construction projects ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, & to the highest quality & safety standards. General Responsibilities Assist with overseeing the day-to-day, on-site operations of construction sites - overseeing jobs from inception through completion - ensuring that the project is completed safely, efficiently & according to project plans, specifications & schedule. Work effectively to ensure that the project remains within budget. As directed, provide regular updates to the project manager regarding work progress, issues, & changes. Proactively collaborate on project progress, schedule & budget, among other matters. Work to resolve site issues promptly. Serve as the liaison between each crew & the project manager. As directed, supervise all on-site crews & subcontractors. Manage daily construction activities, coordinating various teams to ensure cohesiveness of project plans. Coordinate on-site work schedules & deliveries. Coordinate with dispatch daily for equipment & staffing needs. Manage resources. Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, & labor are available when needed. May perform the necessary layout &/or coordinate layout with the survey team. Monitor construction to ensure quality control & compliance with design documents. Conduct regular site inspections & ensure work meets the required specifications. Enforce site safety policies & OSHA compliance as well as adherence to all federal, state & local safety regulations. As directed, conduct safety meetings & weekly toolbox talks with crews. As needed, serve as competent person on the job site. Maintain daily logs & project records, including site photos & progress updates. General Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervising or field management; preference for candidates who have experience in the design & construction of water/wastewater infrastructure projects. High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, & building codes. Ability to read & interpret blueprints, technical drawings, & specifications. Ability to work independently & able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in field documentation & reporting. Excellent leadership, communication, & organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience using construction scheduling/project management software (i.e., Bid2Win) preferred. OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30 certification preferred. The position requires the successful completion of a background check. The expected salary range for this position is \$100,000 to \$163,396. Actual salaries will depend on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education & other qualifications. Robert B.
