Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Manager specializing in the unique demands of a specialty construction company. In this pivotal role, you will lead comprehensive human resources initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. Your expertise will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, and regulatory compliance, empowering our teams to excel on complex construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategies that support growth, safety, and operational excellence across our specialty construction operations. Responsibilities Employee Management
- Process employee requests for time off.
- Respond to requests for employment verifications for current and former employees.
- Assist employees with employment-related questions, grievances or issues.
- Assist scheduling training
- Process employee evaluations when due.
- Process Attendance and Safety Warnings, fines, suspensions, etc.
Unemployment:
Process claims, file protests, notify DLLR of return to work dates on layoffs, review quarterly Benefit Payment Charge statement for accuracy- Office Management Employee Records Track attendance, warnings, maintain documentation on all employees, etc.
- Electronic onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee orientations including reviewing Company policies and procedures with new hires, required paperwork, and setting up personnel records.
- Maintain monthly Davis Bacon reports & YTD totals Maintain and update weekly Pension Loan spreadsheet Weekly update of employee census information to Ascensus Maintain all record keeping throughout the year for annual IRS Audit.
- Review insurance policies for open enrollment and make final determinations
- Maintain ongoing employee insurance eligibility dates spreadsheet; Notify Insurance Administrator monthly
Pay:
$63,114.75 - $76,009.16 per yearBenefits:
