Minimum 10 years About Allied Allied Well Drilling is one of the largest geothermal and water-well drilling contractors on the East Coast. As a growing $100M+ construction organization , we support commercial, residential, and drilling projects across multiple states with a substantial workforce, vehicle fleet, heavy equipment, and field operations. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Office Manager to oversee essential administrative, benefits, payroll-support, and compliance functions at our corporate headquarters. The ideal candidate has significant construction-industry experience and hands-on knowledge of ADP, union administration, certified payroll, employee healthcare benefits, and 401(k) plans . This is a high-visibility position requiring excellent judgment, confidentiality, organization, and follow-through. Key Responsibilities Manage daily corporate office operations and administrative processes. Administer employee healthcare benefits and 401(k) enrollments, changes, and communications. Maintain employee records and process updates through ADP . Support payroll processing, timekeeping, deductions, employee changes, and reporting. Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for prevailing-wage projects. Handle union administration, including classifications, wage rates, benefits, dues, and required reporting. Maintain familiarity with Davis-Bacon and applicable prevailing-wage requirements. Coordinate onboarding, leave administration, employee changes, and separation documentation. Work closely with accounting, payroll, project management, field operations, and executive leadership. Manage office vendors, supplies, facilities needs, records, and special projects. Improve administrative systems and procedures as the company continues to grow. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of relevant office management, HR administration, payroll, or business operations experience . Construction-industry experience is strongly required. Hands-on proficiency with ADP . Demonstrated experience with union requirements and certified payroll. Experience administering healthcare benefits and 401(k) plans. Knowledge of payroll, prevailing wages, Davis-Bacon requirements, and employee classifications. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. Exceptional organization, communication, discretion, and attention to detail. Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, multi-department organization.
