Job Description The Project Manager will be responsible for: Managing construction projects from preconstruction planning through completion and closeout. Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and forecasts to ensure successful delivery. Coordinating and leading communication between owners, design teams, subcontractors and field personnel. Overseeing contract administration, change order management and project documentation. Monitoring project financial performance and proactively identifying opportunities to improve profitability. Leading project meetings and providing regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and regulatory requirements. Supporting procurement and subcontractor selection activities. Identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project objectives. Mentoring and supporting Assistant Project Managers and project team members. The Successful Applicant The Project Manager must have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline preferred. 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects for a general contractor. Proven experience overseeing projects ranging from renovations and additions to large-scale institutional or public-sector work. Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control and contract administration. Experience managing multiple stakeholders in complex project environments. Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation platforms. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of historic restoration, government, educational, healthcare or mission-critical projects is highly desirable.
