Superintendent:
Manage all daily on-site construction operations. Lead field execution and coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades. Maintain project safety, quality, and production standards. Develop and manage 2-3 week look-ahead schedules. Coordinate work activities to ensure project milestones are achieved. Partner closely with Project Managers and project stakeholders throughout construction. Oversee project execution for CM-at-Risk and negotiated projects. Ensure proper sequencing of work from site development through final commissioning. Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions to keep projects moving. Mentor foremen and field staff while maintaining accountability for performance. Manage labor productivity and support hands-on construction activities when needed. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: 5-10 years of experience with a commercial General Contractor. Proven experience serving as a Superintendent on vertical ground-up construction projects. Strong preference for candidates who progressed through the trades, particularly carpentry backgrounds. Demonstrated knowledge of construction systems from sitework through MEP and building controls. Experience coordinating all trades and driving field operations. Experience with secure government, defense, SCIF, or mission-critical construction is highly preferred. Security clearance is a plus but not required. Must be a field-oriented leader who is actively engaged in project execution. Proficiency with Autodesk products, PlanGrid, Primavera P6, Submittal Exchange, and Microsoft Excel.
