Job Description The Superintendent will be responsible for: Managing day-to-day construction activities on-site from mobilization through project completion. Leading subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity. Ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Coordinating site logistics, sequencing, and workforce planning to support efficient project execution. Monitoring quality control and ensuring work meets contract documents and project specifications. Conducting project meetings and providing regular progress updates to stakeholders. Identifying and proactively resolving field challenges to minimize schedule disruptions. Collaborating closely with project management teams on budgeting, scheduling, and change management. Maintaining accurate project documentation, reporting, and site records. Building positive relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners. The Successful Applicant The Superintendent must have: Proven experience as a Superintendent managing commercial construction projects. Background overseeing renovation, restoration, institutional, government, or mission-critical projects preferred. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and sequencing. Demonstrated ability to lead subcontractors and field teams effectively. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to maintaining exceptional safety and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules. Experience managing multiple priorities in active construction environments. Proficiency with construction management technology and project reporting tools. Stable employment history and a track record of successfully delivering projects.
