We're seeking a driven, hands-on Renovations Construction Manager (RCM) to lead our Renovations Construction Department and ensure our projects exceed expectations.
Position Overview:
The Renovations Construction Manager will oversee all aspects of the Renovations Department, including project scheduling, permitting, rebuilding, collections, team leadership, and client satisfaction. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for mentoring teams to deliver top-tier results.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Project Managers, carpenters, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed professionally, on time, to code, and within budget. Oversee all renovation projects from inception to completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Coordinate with internal teams (Mitigation, Flooring, Service) and external partners (adjusters, clients, subcontractors). Maintain exceptional client satisfaction by delivering consistent communication, timely updates, and thorough documentation. Attend and contribute to weekly WIP (Work In Progress) and management meetings. Manage department budgets, bulk purchasing, equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles. Oversee accurate timekeeping, job cost tracking, and profitability reporting. Support business development efforts by expanding subcontractor relationships and representing the Royal Plus/RPCAT brand. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company standards. Participate in large loss and catastrophic event response as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in construction, renovation, or disaster recovery. Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple jobs simultaneously. Hands-on problem solver willing to assist in the field when needed. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building abilities. Proficient with construction documentation software (experience with Dash preferred). Strong budgeting and cost-control skills. Ability to travel as required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (DOT certification a plus). Must pass a background check. Why Join Royal Plus?
