The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and cost control. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. Duties Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while coordinating resources effectively. Oversee the bidding process and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Utilize construction estimating software such as Quick Bid for accurate cost assessments. Implement cost control measures to monitor expenses and ensure financial accountability. Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, changes, and communications. Skills Proficiency in Onscreen Take off for project estimation. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with contractors and vendors. Expertise in construction estimating processes to accurately forecast project costs. In-depth knowledge of construction practices and principles. Experience in cost control methods to manage budgets effectively. Familiarity with pricing strategies within the construction industry. Proven track record of managing construction sites efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project management tasks. Ability to interpret contracts and ensure compliance throughout the project duration.
