New LDS Meetinghouse ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the field operations and construction of a new LDS (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) Meetinghouse in Grand Blanc, MI.The ideal candidate will have strong commercial construction experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and preferably specific experience supervising construction projects for the LDS Church, particularly LDS meetinghouses.

Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage all field-related project administration and construction activities.

Oversee daily jobsite operations, scheduling, and project coordination.

Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.

Allocate manpower and resources to maintain project schedules.

Monitor project costs and assist with cost control.

Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and tracking.

Manage project close-out activities, including punch lists and final completion.

Communicate effectively with project management, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Utilize email, computer-based project management tools, AI-generated reporting, and project tracking systems.

When needed, assist with contractor self-perform work, including carpentry, accessories, general conditions, cleanup, and other hands-on construction activities.

QualificationsPrevious experience as a Construction Superintendent or Project Superintendent.
Required:
Specific experience constructing LDS Church facilities, especially LDS Meetinghouses.

Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and field operations.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Strong jobsite scheduling and subcontractor coordination skills.

Experience with manpower allocation and project cost control.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with email, computer-based project documentation, reporting, and project tracking.

Ability and willingness to assist with hands-on/self-perform construction work when required.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ideal CandidateThe strongest candidates will have direct experience working on LDS Church construction projects or LDS Meetinghouse construction, combined with solid commercial construction superintendent experience and the ability to actively manage both project administration and field operations.
