Mentoring Full Job Description Summary:
Carbon Builders is a General Trades and Steel building provider, founded in 2022 and located in Grand Rapids, MI. Carbon Builders is a trade partner setting high standards related to safety, quality, and value.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day field operations for multiple projects within the Self Perform Division. Ensure that all projects are executed in compliance with company standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Monitor project progress, including scheduling, and resource allocation.
Team Management:
Foster a collaborative and safety-oriented work environment. Will require the ability to perform on the job mentorship with installation of product.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce adherence to safety regulations and company policies. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Quality Control:
Oversee quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship. Report any quality issues or deficiencies that arise on-site.
Communication and Coordination:
Facilitate effective communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Provide regular updates to the Leadman or PM on project status.
Resource Management:
Oversee the procurement and management of construction materials, equipment, internal labor, and outsourced labor forces. Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
Minimum of (5) years of field experience in construction. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to lead others. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
