Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. The Project Manager will take ownership of project execution, including budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, documentation, procurement, and client communication. The Project Manager will work closely with Project Engineers(PE), Site Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and owners to ensure projects are properly coordinated and progressing according to schedule, budget, plans, and specifications. The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive construction professional who can manage multiple priorities, anticipate potential issues, communicate effectively, and drive projects toward successful completion. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Take ownership of project budgets, schedules, contracts, documentation, and overall project performance. Work closely with the Project Engineer (PE) and Site Superintendent to coordinate project activities and maintain clear communication between the office and field. Provide direction, support, and coordination to project engineers and site staff. Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, vendors, and other project stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules and milestones. Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and other project documents. Identify conflicts, discrepancies, and potential issues in project documents and coordinate solutions with the appropriate parties. Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project correspondence. Review subcontractor scopes and assist with subcontractor buyout and contract administration. Track project costs, commitments, change orders, invoices, and budget projections. Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements. Monitor project financial performance and identify potential cost overruns or budget concerns early. Lead project meetings and maintain clear documentation of decisions, responsibilities, and deadlines. Communicate regularly with owners and clients regarding project progress, schedule, budget, changes, and outstanding issues. Coordinate material procurement, lead times, deliveries, and other project requirements with the project team. Work with the Superintendent and site staff to ensure field operations remain aligned with project plans and schedules. Assist with resolving field issues, constructability concerns, coordination conflicts, and schedule impacts. Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or potential problems. Ensure work is being performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, applicable codes, and company standards. Support the site team in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive job site. Maintain accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project. Coordinate inspections, owner requirements, testing, commissioning, punch lists, and project closeout. Assist with final project turnover, warranty documentation, and closeout requirements. Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred. Previous experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar construction management role. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and project coordination. Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and sequencing. Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to understand project costs, budgets, and financial reports. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency with construction management software and standard computer applications. Ability to effectively communicate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents, Project Engineers, and site staff. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before they become costly problems. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check
