Job Description
Job Summary Doetsch Environmental Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Manager to oversee construction projects from initial planning to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing budgets, procuring resources, supervising job sites, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the high quality that we are known for. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures to keep projects within budgets
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project resources
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all applicable safety standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
- Maintain and regulate accurate project documentation Qualifications
- Relevant work experience in construction or a related industry, or a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing construction projects, ideally within the commercial or industrial sector
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Technical Skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with construction management software and the ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Knowledge of construction quality and safety standards
- Experience tracking project scheduled, budgets, documentation, and reporting Soft Skills
