Job Description

Commercial Construction Superintendent Duties:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish on projects ranging from $1
  • 30 million.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
  • Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure compliance
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and placing orders for materials to be used on site
  • Monitor construction schedule and project progress to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations
  • Collaborate with project team members to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
  • Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and construction plans and specifications
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards
  • Familiarity with the operation of common construction equipment
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven ground
  • Capacity to physically lift 50 lbs
