Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Land Development & Pre-Construction Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure and commercial development projects. In this role, you will oversee all phases of land development and pre-construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise will drive project success through strategic planning, team leadership, and meticulous management of construction plans, regulatory compliance, and cost control. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about shaping innovative infrastructure solutions and managing multifaceted projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities Lead the pre-construction process by reviewing construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to develop accurate estimates and project timelines. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all construction regulations and permits. Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely delivery of milestones. Oversee civil design work utilizing Civil 3D and other construction management tools to develop detailed site plans and infrastructure layouts. Conduct construction estimating using HeavyBid or comparable software to establish budgets that align with project goals. Supervise teams on-site and in-office, managing subcontractors and internal staff to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Monitor project costs through cost management strategies, tracking expenditures against budgets regularly. Ensure construction schedule coordination across multiple stakeholders to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Review construction regulatory compliance documentation and ensure adherence to local codes and environmental standards. Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Microsoft Office Suite, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Lead project leadership efforts by managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation with precision. Facilitate effective project coordination meetings to align team efforts toward shared objectives. Experience Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools. Strong background in civil engineering design processes with proficiency in Civil 3D schematics and site plans. Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with heavy civil projects including roadways, utilities, grading, drainage systems, and site development. Experience with construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar platforms for accurate budgeting. Deep understanding of construction regulations, permits, environmental standards, and compliance requirements. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, contract administration, and project documentation management. Pay:
$125,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
