2989939830-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Knife River is seeking an Aggregate Superintendent to lead daily operations at our aggregate production sites. You will supervise crews, oversee drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening, and ensure materials meet quality, safety, and production targets. Responsibilities include planning schedules, coordinating equipment and maintenance, managing budgets, and tracking production reports. You will enforce OSHA and company safety standards, lead and develop field teams, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with project managers and dispatch to meet customer needs and delivery timelines across a variety of construction projects. Responsibilities Supervise daily aggregate plant and quarry operations, including crushing, screening, and loadout Lead, train, and schedule field crews to meet production and quality goals Enforce Knife River and regulatory safety standards and conduct inspections Coordinate equipment use, maintenance, and repairs with internal and external resources Monitor material quality and adjust processes to meet specifications Plan production schedules and allocate resources to meet project and customer demand Track production metrics, costs, and downtime and prepare reports for management Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for aggregate operations Collaborate with project managers, dispatch, and trucking to ensure timely deliveries Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and team performance Required Skills Aggregate production management Crew supervision Safety compliance (OSHA/MSHA) Quarry/plant operations Equipment operation and maintenance coordination Production scheduling Quality control for materials Budgeting and cost control Reporting and documentation Communication and leadership
