HIGH END CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
Position Summary Robinson & Son's Enterprises is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of high-end residential and commercial construction projects. The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the jobsite from mobilization through completion, including schedule, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety, site logistics, and overall field production. This position requires an experienced builder who understands how projects are actually constructed, can anticipate problems before they impact the work, and holds employees and trade partners to a high standard. Our Superintendents are expected to take ownership of their projects, maintain an exceptionally organized jobsite, and deliver work that reflects Robinson & Son's standards for craftsmanship and professionalism. Primary Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations for assigned construction projects. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and company personnel. Maintain the project schedule and coordinate sequencing of trades and critical construction activities. Review drawings, specifications, subcontracts, and scopes of work to understand project requirements. Plan upcoming work and ensure necessary manpower, materials, equipment, information, and site conditions are in place. Conduct regular quality-control inspections and ensure work meets project documents and Robinson & Son's standards. Identify conflicts, deficiencies, and constructability issues early and coordinate their resolution. Coordinate inspections, testing, deliveries, site logistics, temporary protection, and other field requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe jobsite. Track field progress and provide clear, consistent reporting to project leadership. Lead subcontractor coordination and field meetings as required. Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Assist with hands-on construction activities when necessary to support project execution. Take ownership of the project through punch list, final completion, and turnover. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience with demonstrated responsibility for field operations. Experience with both commercial and high-end residential construction strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, building systems, and industry standards. Strong understanding of high-end finishes, framing, concrete, exterior assemblies, interior finishes, and detailed architectural construction. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and scopes of work simultaneously. Strong understanding of jobsite safety, quality control, and applicable building codes. Ability to develop and maintain short-term and overall project schedules. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using construction technology and project-management software. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. What We Expect A Robinson & Son's Superintendent is more than a jobsite supervisor. This position requires someone who owns the field execution of the project . We expect our Superintendents to plan ahead, understand the details, maintain control of the site, communicate clearly, hold a high standard of craftsmanship, and take responsibility for delivering an exceptional finished product. The right candidate will be equally comfortable coordinating complex commercial construction, managing the details of a high-end custom residence, leading experienced tradespeople, and representing Robinson & Son's professionally with clients and project partners.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
