We are looking for a field-focused project leader who can manage residential and light commercial restoration projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with experience in restoration, construction, insurance claims, Xactimate estimating, subcontractor coordination, and customer communication. CareMaster is a family-owned restoration and general contracting company with more than 55 years of service in North Carolina. We help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, storm, mold, and other property damage. Our Greenville market is growing, and we need a strong operator who can lead projects, protect profitability, communicate clearly, and keep jobs moving. This is not a desk-only project management role. This is a field leadership position for someone who can own the job, lead people, solve problems, and deliver results. What you'll do Manage 8-15 active residential and light commercial restoration projects Oversee the full project lifecycle from scope review through completion Work with homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams Create, review, and update estimates, scopes, supplements, and job documentation Use Xactimate, DASH, Microsoft Office, and project tracking systems to manage workflow Coordinate subcontractors, materials, inspections, schedules, and jobsite progress Monitor project profitability, quality control, documentation, and customer satisfaction Identify issues early and take action before jobs stall Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the restoration process Visit jobsites regularly and lead from the field, not just from a computer Ensure work is completed safely, professionally, and according to company standards What we're looking for 3+ years of experience managing construction, restoration, remodeling, mitigation, or insurance repair projects Strong understanding of residential construction and repair sequencing Experience working with insurance claims, adjusters, scopes, supplements, or carrier documentation Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software Familiarity with DASH, Microsoft Office, and digital project management systems Strong communication skills with homeowners, subcontractors, field teams, and leadership Ability to manage multiple active jobs without losing control of details Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and follow-through Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, including background check and motor vehicle record review, in accordance with company standards and applicable law Preferred but not required Direct insurance restoration project management experience Fire, water, storm, mold, reconstruction, or mitigation background Xactimate estimating and supplement experience DASH experience IICRC certifications or other restoration-related training Experience managing subcontractors and job profitability Experience working directly with homeowners during stressful property damage situations Compensation and benefits 65,000-85,000 base salary, based on experience and proven ability Quarterly bonus opportunity Vehicle allowance Fuel card Company iPhone Company laptop Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and paid holidays Leadership development, mentorship, and growth opportunities Supportive culture focused on ownership, accountability, and results Why join CareMaster?
