Overview We are seeking a dynamic Traveling Piping Superintendent to lead and oversee piping installation projects across multiple sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale industrial and commercial piping operations, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction management experience, excellent team leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Responsibilities Direct and supervise all piping installation activities on multiple construction sites, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to interpret project scope accurately and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly Manage crews effectively by supervising daily work activities, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure productivity and safety standards are met Oversee quality control processes by conducting inspections, ensuring adherence to construction regulations, safety protocols (including OSHA standards), and client requirements Monitor project budgets, track costs related to piping materials and labor, and assist in procurement processes using HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders through management reports, daily logs, and site meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved smoothly Skills Proven experience managing heavy industrial or commercial piping projects with a strong understanding of pipeline systems and construction techniques Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Primavera P6, Primavera, or similar platforms Deep knowledge of federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and industry best practices for construction safety management Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications related to piping systems Excellent crew management abilities with a focus on team supervision, conflict resolution, and effective communication at all levels of the project team Strong background in construction scheduling coordination and project timeline management Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality control and safety compliance Familiarity with budgeting processes, contract management including review of contracts related to piping work, and managing subcontractor relationships Join us as a Traveling Piping Superintendent if you're ready to lead impactful projects across diverse locations while advancing your career in a fast-paced construction environment.
