This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and deliver impactful solutions that align with organizational goals. As a PM, you will oversee project lifecycle management, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful project delivery through expert application of project management methodologies. Responsibilities Manage projects such as additions, remodels, and new home projects. Review drawings prior to permitting to ensure all details required are on the plans prior to submitting for engineering or permitting. Attend walk through with appropriate internal personnel. Ability to take constantly push things forward via phone, email, and texting. Document all communication in writing with customers, other employees, trade partners. Compile a list of materials from the plans and site visit. Order Materials from vendors using their delivery system as much as possible. Ensure that all materials are on the job site prior to crew employees and trade contractors arriving. Check materials to be sure they match the packing slip. Perform quantity take offs for the various materials, finishes, and mechanical trades. Meet Trade Contractors on site prior to construction to ensure expectations and duties are set. Coordinate Inspections. Meet City/County Inspectors onsite to ensure they are able to enter the home and perform inspections. Ensure that the work being required by the inspector is done prior to re-inspection. Assist internal employees in understanding the full scope of work required. Produce daily logs with status photos in our platform. Update schedules daily in our management platform. Provide pre insulation video/photos for all projects you're responsible for. Ability to follow the schedule and think ahead to line up appropriate vendors Meet with contractors & vendors regularly to discuss construction status. Meet with homeowners to address any punch list items. Ensure jobsite is clean and tools are removed from jobsite once job is complete. Conduct site walk thru and progress visits. Establish good working relationship with other team members. Perform research on products/accessories integrated in a project according to specifications. Proactively identify potential problems to eliminate/reduce negative impact on the customer. Foster positive communications and relationships with clients and vendors. Select, coordinate, oversee and manage people, materials, budgets, schedules and contracts. Keep up to date on industry trends and developments. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Take industry training courses and software courses as requested. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years' experience in construction project management. High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GEG) required. Additional schooling within construction field a plus. Strong knowledge in all phases of residential remodeling and new home building and construction procedures. Building experience including layout knowledge of foundations, framing, cabinets, interior finish packages, and working with subcontractors. Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors. Ability to effectively manage time, multi-task, and prioritize to meet established goals and deadlines. Computer skills including but not limited to: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets. Familiar with BuilderTrend software. Strong knowledge and understanding of the life cycle of a new construction and remodeling project. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with customers and trade partners.
