Job Description
Broad River Builders is seeking an experienced and dependable Residential Construction Project Manager to oversee remodeling, addition, and new-home construction projects throughout the Asheville and Western North Carolina area. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader who can coordinate crews and subcontractors, read construction plans, communicate professionally with clients and keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities Manage residential construction projects from preconstruction through completion Read and interpret architectural plans, construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Coordinate employees, subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and material deliveries Provide daily leadership and clear direction to jobsite crews Develop and maintain project schedules Monitor job progress, quality, safety, budgets, and deadlines Identify jobsite issues and work with the appropriate parties to resolve them Maintain organized project records, photographs, schedules, and progress reports Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership Ensure jobsites remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards Assist with project updates and social media content when needed Required Qualifications Residential construction or construction project management experience Proven crew leadership or supervisory experience Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and jobsite safety Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and project-management software Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Professional attitude and dependable work ethic Experience communicating directly with homeowners Familiarity with construction estimating, budgeting, and permitting Preferred Qualifications Experience managing residential remodels, additions, or new-home construction Experience communicating directly with homeowners Basic social media skills, including taking quality project photos and assisting with Facebook, Instagram, or other company updates Established relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers Knowledge of Asheville and Western North Carolina building practices
