Room for growth within a reputable Developer! Financial and Professional Advancement! About Our Client Major Developer and Builder in the luxury commercial, multifamily and Industrial space in NJ. High profile high-dollar figure projects and 40+ years servicing the NYC Metro area. Job Description Key Responsibilities Evaluate potential acquisition and development sites for feasibility and development constraints Review zoning, land use regulations, environmental considerations, utility availability, and site access requirements Assist with conceptual site planning and site layout evaluations Support due diligence efforts during land acquisition and project planning Coordinate and manage outside civil engineering, surveying, traffic, environmental, and land-use consultants Work closely with municipal staff, planning boards, zoning boards, and regulatory agencies during entitlement and approval processes Monitor project schedules and approval milestones Review consultant drawings, reports, and technical submissions Identify development risks, infrastructure challenges, and opportunities for cost optimization Support permit applications, entitlement packages, and agency submissions Collaborate with development, construction, legal, and finance teams throughout project planning MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 5+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, site development, or real estate development Strong understanding of site development principles, grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure requirements Experience with zoning, land use, entitlement, and permitting processes Ability to review and interpret engineering plans and technical reports Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and stakeholders Excellent project management and communication skills What's on Offer Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required Experience working for a developer, owner's representative, civil consulting firm, or land development company Knowledge of municipal approval processes and entitlement procedures Experience with commercial, industrial, multifamily, or mixed-use developments
