Real Estate Project Manager - Site Development Position Summary We are seeking a Real Estate Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering, site development, and real estate development. This position will support projects from initial due diligence and site evaluation through entitlements, permitting, and municipal approvals. The ideal candidate will have hands-on site-development experience and the ability to review technical information, identify project risks, evaluate site conditions, and coordinate with engineers, consultants, municipalities, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Manage site-acquisition due diligence, zoning reviews, site constraints, and technical studies. Review civil, environmental, traffic, geotechnical, utility, and other development information. Assist with conceptual site plans, zoning analysis, and AutoCAD layouts. Coordinate entitlement, zoning, permitting, and municipal approval processes. Work with architects, civil engineers, surveyors, consultants, agencies, and municipalities. Attend municipal meetings, hearings, and project meetings. Track schedules, approvals, budgets, project documentation, and critical milestones. Review consultant work for compliance with project requirements. Manage multiple projects while maintaining strong organization and follow-through. Provide project updates and status reports to leadership. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field. 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong preference for civil engineering, site-development, or land-development experience. Experience with real estate development, entitlements, permitting, and municipal approvals. Ability to read and interpret civil and architectural drawings. AutoCAD experience, including conceptual site layouts. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Preferred Experience Commercial, retail, fuel, QSR, convenience-store, or hotel development. State municipal approval and permitting processes. Site-development disciplines including civil, grading/drainage, utilities, traffic, and environmental. Experience with public hearings and discretionary approvals.
