Project Supervisor Residential Roofing & Exteriors Veterans Roofing | South Jersey | Full-Time | $22-$31/hr About Us Veterans Roofing is a South Jersey residential exterior contractor specializing in roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, and insulation. We run safe, organized, well-documented job sites — and we're looking for a leader who takes pride in doing the job right from the first photo to the final walk-around. The Role As a Project Supervisor, you are our leader on the job site. You own each project from the day-before planning through the final homeowner walk-around — keeping the crew safe, the work on track, and every step documented. Construction experience is a plus, but we will train the right person. What You'll Do Plan ahead: Review the next day's project the day before — including your route and timeline from home to the yard to the job site — and load materials the morning of the job.

Start strong:

Arrive on site by 7:30 AM, run a safety brief with the crew, capture 360° site photos, and let the homeowner know you've arrived.

Lead the crew:

Supervise daily work, enforce safety standards, and catch and correct errors before they become problems.

Document everything:

Follow our job checklist and upload before, during, and after photos to CompanyCam in real time — tarping, work in progress, cleanup, and final install.

Verify materials:

Check deliveries against the Veterans Roofing material order (not just the supplier's list) and report any changes or issues to leadership.

Protect the neighborhood:

Follow our procedures for homes with close neighbors or shared fences — nothing goes on an adjacent property without permission.

Close it out:

Walk the finished job with the homeowner and address any concerns.

Care for equipment:

Complete daily ladder inspections, secure all roof-rack equipment, complete the weekly vehicle inspection, and keep wrapped company vehicles clean and presentable.

Support the team:

Help keep the yard clean and organized, and place door hangers in the neighborhood on jobs where homes are close together. What We're Looking For A reliable, punctual early riser who shows up ready to lead Confidence directing a crew and communicating professionally with homeowners Strong attention to detail and the discipline to follow checklists and SOPs Comfortable using a smartphone and apps (CompanyCam training provided) Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a company vehicle Able to work outdoors in all seasons, climb ladders, and work at heights Roofing or construction experience preferred — not required. We'll train the right leader.
