Job Summary We are an Arizona based General Contractor looking for a Construction Superintendent based in Arizona and willing to work anywhere in Arizona and in other states. The majority of our projects are government based with Corps of Engineers, GSA (General Services Administration), Bureau of Reclamations, U.S. Customs and Border Protections, Homeland Security. We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team! The Superintendent plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a field-based leadership position responsible for daily site operations, coordination with subcontractors, and maintaining strong client relationships. Duties Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution. Manage construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure seamless project delivery. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling tools; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Oversee construction budget management, cost control measures, and procurement processes utilizing Construction estimating software and HeavyBid. Review construction plans, blueprints, contracts, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Ensure adherence to construction safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance protocols on-site. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and communication. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high safety standards. Coordinate with project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and timely decision-making. Manage project documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and regulatory compliance records. Requirements Proven experience managing heavy civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on infrastructure development. Extensive construction site experience combined with strong knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, and Microsoft Office programs. Skilled in reading blueprints, construction plans, contracts, and specifications accurately. Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules effectively while coordinating multiple teams across complex projects. Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment; excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and cost management practices; familiarity with Construction estimating tools preferred. Ability to ensure regulatory compliance related to construction permits, safety standards, and environmental policies. Valid experience in managing budgets for large-scale projects while maintaining cost control measures. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
