PROJECT MANAGER/ESTIMATOR SALARY
DOE The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for estimating, planning, coordinating, and managing commercial, industrial, heavy civil, and structural steel construction projects from preconstruction through final completion. This position oversees all phases of construction including underground utilities, earthwork, concrete, structural steel erection, building construction, tenant improvements, and project closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. The Project Manager / Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, field supervisors, and project stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Estimating & Preconstruction Must know Smartsheet and have extensive knowledge to enhance user capability Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and bid documents. Analyze drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements Solicit, review, and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in construction management, but not required, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent construction experience may be substituted. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience managing commercial and heavy civil construction projects. Experience estimating and managing projects from bid through completion. Strong background in underground utilities, site development, structural concrete, and commercial construction. Experience managing structural steel erection projects. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
