We have several multi-million dollar narrow focus remodel projects starting at local and remote locations in the Nevada and eventually Arizona areas over the next few months. For these projects, we scope and manage all the general trades that support elevator modernization projects' Code requirements for our elevator industry customers. This position requires both a professional 4 year Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering degree and 5+ years of managing direct reports who are experienced Supervisors and Project Managers, as well as overseeing our subcontractors and handling high-level customer meetings. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. You are a leader with hands-on knowledgeable of pre-construction, scheduling and overseeing multiple electrical, alarm, HVAC, steel, carpenter and finishes subcontractors working on various projects. These subs will start, finish phases and remobilize at these primarily interior projects with a duration 1-3 years or longer. (There is no ground-up.) Requires knowledge of electrical trades, including code-compliant fire alarm installation, in a service environment. We work in all types of buildings, both private and public sector. We offer 2 weeks of paid time off per year, prorated 1st year, auto allowance plus business and travel expenses and a performance-based bonus program, all subject to eligibility. Geography dictates occasional 2-3 days of overnight travel. Do you have at least 10 years of construction management experience in public sector projects in offices, hospitals, hotels, office and retail complexes, etc.? Bachelor's Degree --Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture Demonstrable commercial experience in construction means, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures, as well as advanced understanding of construction scheduling, and cost control.
