A s a 'National ENR Top 25 General Contractor' that values its employees and fosters a positive and supportive culture, Whiting-Turner is seeking qualified field supervision for various commercial projects in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, team-based working environment.
Q u alified candidates shall possess 10 to 15 years of experience in the industry and a track record for delivering complex projects without delays and emphasis on delighting the customer. Proven ability to implement and maintain full control of all field matters while enforcing safety, adherence to schedule and maintaining quality expectations on site.
T h e following experience and skill set are preferred:
- rong commitment to promoting safety including certifications comparable to OSHA 30.
- ility to be a leader and a mentor as part of diverse team.
- fective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- owledge of construction principles and ambition to succeed/advance.
- ility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- actitioner of innovation and continuous improvement.
- perience with scheduling methodologies and software.
- perience managing financial impacts on site.
- ility to interpret and implement technical specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, product/material installation instructions and engineering/architectural drawings.
- chelor of Science or equivalent experience in construction management, construction technology, an engineering discipline or engineering technology.
