- Responsibilities
- Electrical Superintendents' responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: + Supervise small to medium size construction projects + Perform daily inspections of work performed for Safety, Quality, and Productivity + Act as liaison and coordinator between contractors.
- Since our projects are located nationwide, multiple relocations are required on an as needed basis.
- Qualifications
- A minimum of five years experience as General Foreman or Superintendent
- Management of union labor a plus
- Direct and supervise crews
- Broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including but not limited to: o Underground layout and installation o Instrumentation installation
- Above ground systems layout and installations, including but not limited to: o Conduit installations within hazardous locations o Cable tray systems o Cable pulling in conduit and tray
- Experience managing 20-50 craft employees at one time
- Prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors
- Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivational skills
- Adapt to new surroundings and new people
- Must be able to access all points of a construction site
- Must be able to work with a team and provide input
- Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Willing to travel and relocate on an as needed basis; nationwide
- Able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future \#LI-JT1
