In this role, you will oversee daily site operations, supervise crews, and ensure that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all construction regulations. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to advance their career in construction management by gaining hands-on experience managing teams and coordinating complex projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of construction processes, and a passion for delivering quality results on time and within budget. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site to ensure work progresses according to schedule and safety standards. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction schedules to guide team activities effectively. Review construction drawings and specifications to verify project requirements and quality standards. Assist in managing project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software to keep projects on track. Monitor safety compliance by adhering to OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety inspections. Collaborate with project managers to coordinate construction schedules, manage budgets, and oversee procurement of materials using Construction Management Software such as ProCore or Prolog. Conduct quality control inspections, document findings, and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage subcontractors and crew members, providing clear instructions, supervision, and performance feedback. Utilize tools such as Bluebeam for digital plan review and documentation management during project execution. Maintain accurate records of site activities, safety incidents, daily reports, and project progress updates. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site supervision or as a junior foreman within commercial or heavy civil projects. Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including scheduling (Primavera P6), budgeting, and quality control processes. Familiarity with construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards and federal safety requirements. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting specifications accurately. Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P6), Prolog, HeavyBid or similar tools. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring clear management reporting. Knowledge of pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is a plus but not required. Ability to operate basic testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections is advantageous.
