Job Description
Position Summary Stasi Brothers Asphalt Corp is seeking an experienced, hands-on Construction Site Supervisor to oversee civil and site-development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong field experience in site work, demolition, asphalt paving, concrete construction, excavation, underground utilities, grading, drainage, and civil foundations. This position is responsible for coordinating daily field operations, supervising crews and subcontractors, maintaining a safe and productive jobsite, and ensuring work is completed according to project plans, specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities Direct and supervise daily activities of field crews, equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors Coordinate site work, demolition, excavation, grading, drainage, utilities, asphalt, concrete, and foundation operations Review construction drawings, site plans, specifications, and daily work requirements Plan labor, equipment, materials, deliveries, and subcontractor activities Conduct daily job briefings and communicate production goals to the field team Monitor project schedules and maintain efficient workflow Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety policies Conduct site inspections and immediately correct unsafe conditions Verify elevations, grades, layouts, and completed work Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project specifications Coordinate inspections and communicate with project managers, engineers, owners, and inspectors Complete daily field reports, time records, equipment reports, delivery tickets, and progress documentation Identify field conflicts and work with project management to resolve them Track quantities, production, and material usage Protect existing utilities, structures, and surrounding property Maintain an organized, professional, and secure jobsite Assist with employee training, performance management, and crew development Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of construction field experience Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory, foreman, or superintendent role Strong experience in several of the following areas: Civil and commercial site work Demolition Excavation and earthwork Grading and drainage Asphalt paving Concrete flatwork and structures Civil foundations Underground utilities Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site plans Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions Ability to meet the physical demands of an active construction site Willingness to work overtime and weekends when project schedules require it Preferred Qualifications OSHA 30 certification First Aid/CPR certification Competent Person training Experience with surveying equipment, lasers, and grade-control systems Experience with daily reporting or construction management software CDL or equipment-operating experience Experience working on municipal, commercial, industrial, or public infrastructure projects What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health insurance Paid time off and paid holidays Retirement plan Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, if applicable Company phone or phone allowance Opportunities for advancement Steady, year-round work Supportive and safety-focused work environment
