Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence of a high functioning individual with mild intellectural and physical disabilities. This very independent individual is fun-loving, easy going, has a great sense of humor, loves to golf and participate in fun activities in the community, and is simply a pleasure to be with. He has a very caring team, including family members, who offer much support to the team. This role involves working with the team to coordinate and provide for his needs and his home. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a welcoming and smoothly functioning home environment. Duties Coordinate the needs of the indiviudal to ensure his health, safety and happiness. Assist the individual in accessing the community, and finding fun and interesting activities to participate in both in and out of the home. Assisting the individual in staying within their budget. Assist the individual in coordinating all aspects of healthy daily living. Assist the indivudual in maintaining a clean and comfortable living space Ensure all aspects of care are met with warmth and professionalism, delivering excellent customer service. Through an interview and during a thorough training program the house manager will gain specific details of the duties outlined above. Requirements Minimum of 25 years of age High School Diploma Valid Drivers License Dependable Transportation that can be used to transport the client BMV record with less than 6 points Clean background record Clean drug screening Must be able to work a minimum of one day of the weekend. No overnight hours are required. Typical weekday hours are 3:00pm - 10:00pm, Sat and Sun hours are 10:00am - 10:00pm. Hours may fluctuate occasionally depending on the activities the individual participates in. Hours will be covered by a fulltime house manager and 1-2 support staff.
