Position Summary The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward is responsible for ensuring Remodel Me Today's materials, warehouse, tools, equipment, vehicles, showroom, and facilities are organized, maintained, and ready to support efficient project execution. This position serves as the steward of company assets and operational readiness. Through organization, attention to detail, initiative, and a commitment to excellence, the Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward helps create an environment where production teams can perform at their highest level and clients experience the professionalism that defines Remodel Me Today. This position reports directly to the Project Coordinator. Stewardship Commitment The condition and readiness of company materials, facilities, vehicles, tools, equipment, and support systems are a direct reflection of the pride, professionalism, and standards of Remodel Me Today. The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward serves as the steward of these assets and is expected to take personal ownership in maintaining an organized, efficient, safe, and professional environment that supports our team, protects company resources, and enhances the experience of our clients. The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward contributes to this vision by ensuring company assets, facilities, materials, and support systems are organized, maintained, and prepared to support successful project delivery. Core Responsibilities Material Coordination & Project Readiness The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward is responsible for ensuring project materials are properly received, inspected, organized, protected, and readily available to support project success.
Responsibilities include:
Receiving all project materials delivered by vendors and suppliers. Inspecting materials immediately upon receipt for damage, completeness, and accuracy. Opening and verifying delivered products when necessary to ensure quality and condition. Promptly notifying the Project Coordinator of damaged, missing, incorrect, or defective materials. Organizing project materials by project and client within the warehouse. Maintaining storage systems that allow team members to quickly locate materials when needed. Delivering materials, tools, and supplies to project sites as directed. Updating JobTread with material receipt and delivery information as required. Monitoring stock inventory levels and notifying the Project Coordinator when replenishment is needed. Protecting company materials from damage, loss, theft, or deterioration. Success in this area means production teams have the materials they need, when they need them, without unnecessary delays or confusion. Warehouse Organization & Asset Stewardship The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward serves as the primary steward of the warehouse and company support assets.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment. Ensuring all materials, tools, and equipment are properly stored and protected. Maintaining organizational systems that support efficient project execution. Assisting with tool cleaning, organization, maintenance, and readiness between projects. Monitoring warehouse conditions and identifying opportunities for improvement. Supporting accountability and organization of company-owned assets. Assisting in reducing material waste, unnecessary replacement costs, and asset loss. The warehouse should remain organized in a manner that allows authorized team members to quickly locate project materials, tools, and equipment. Facility Stewardship The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward is responsible for maintaining facilities that reflect the professionalism and quality standards of Remodel Me Today.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining the appearance and organization of the showroom, warehouse, shop, and exterior property. Supporting upkeep of landscaping, flower beds, walkways, and exterior presentation. Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of client-facing areas. Assisting with upkeep of displays, artwork, storage areas, and common spaces. Identifying building maintenance concerns and communicating them to management. Supporting minor facility maintenance and repairs within skill level and authorization limits. Ensuring trash removal and general cleanliness throughout company facilities. The appearance of company facilities should consistently create a positive impression for clients, trade partners, and team members. Company Vehicle & Equipment Stewardship The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward plays a key role in protecting and maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining company vehicles in a clean, professional, and presentable condition. Ensuring the interior of the company F-350 remains organized, clean, and ready for daily use. Maintaining exterior cleanliness of company box trucks, trailers, and support vehicles. Conducting regular visual inspections of vehicles and trailers for cleanliness, readiness, and basic maintenance concerns. Assisting with fueling, washing, and general upkeep of company vehicles. Assisting with minor vehicle and trailer maintenance within company guidelines and skill level. Promptly notifying the Project Coordinator of maintenance concerns, damage, safety issues, or mechanical problems. Supporting readiness of vehicles, trailers, and equipment required by production teams. Company vehicles serve as rolling advertisements for Remodel Me Today and should reflect the same pride and professionalism expected on every project. Operations & Team Support The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward provides support to production operations when directed by the Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with material deliveries and logistical support. Performing dump runs and transfer station runs as required. Supporting production teams with project-related needs as assigned. Assisting on project sites when directed by the Project Coordinator. Participating in company meetings, training sessions, and team events. Supporting company-wide initiatives that improve efficiency, organization, and client satisfaction. All work priorities and assignments are coordinated through the Project Coordinator. Ownership & Authority This position is expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. The Materials Coordinator & Facility Steward may independently implement minor organizational improvements that enhance efficiency, cleanliness, safety, material accessibility, or operational readiness. Approval from the Project Coordinator is required before implementing significant changes to systems, procedures, layouts, or operational processes. Success in this role requires initiative, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Reliable transportation. Ability to operate company trucks and trailers. Ability to safely operate and maneuver dump trailers. Basic understanding of construction materials, tools, and jobsite operations. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional appearance and demeanor. Commitment to continuous improvement. Work Schedule This is an hourly position with a minimum expectation of 35 hours per week. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position. Standard work hours are 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM unless otherwise directed by management. Physical Requirements The physical requirements described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work indoors and outdoors throughout the workday. Ability to work in varying weather conditions when necessary.
