Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Natural Gas Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale pipeline and natural gas infrastructure projects. This pivotal role involves managing construction activities from planning through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction operations on natural gas pipeline projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication. Oversee site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide field activities accurately. Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines effectively. Monitor quality control processes, ensuring construction meets all specifications, codes, and standards. Oversee budgeting activities, including cost tracking and resource allocation using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools. Ensure proper use of construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and reporting purposes. Conduct regular site inspections with tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical systems' integrity within pipeline infrastructure. Enforce strict adherence to contracts, project scope, and safety regulations while supervising subcontractors and field personnel. Maintain detailed records of progress reports, incident reports, change orders, and daily logs for project documentation. Experience Proven management experience supervising heavy civil or pipeline construction projects within the natural gas industry. Extensive construction site experience with a strong background in pipeline installation, schematics reading, and construction estimating. Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to pipeline construction and heavy civil work. Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and budget management practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of plans.
